In line with the government’s efforts to strengthen the logistics sector and stimulate economic, tourism, and social movement, the tender for the remaining three parts of the Adam-Haima-Thumrait Dual carriageway project has been awarded.

The third part of the Adam-Haima- Thumrait project will start from Haima and end in Maqshan with a total length of 132.5 km. While he fourth part starts from Maqshin, passing through Qatbet and ends in Doka with a length of 135 km. and the fifth part starts from Dokah and ends in Thumrait with a length of 132.7 km.

The 717.5 km Adam-Haima-Thumrait dual carriageway road project is a major strategic project implemented by the government represented by the Ministry of Transport. It is also a significant and rapid artery that links the sources of economic and urban growth in the Sultanate. Not to mention, its contribution in keeping up with the steady increase in traffic and bolsters the various development sectors in the Sultanate.
