Today, the Ministry of Oil and Gas signed a new petroleum agreement in Concession No. 58 with an area of ​​4,557 square kilometres.

The agreement was signed on behalf of the Sultanate’s government by  Dr. Muhammad bin Hamad Al-Ramahi, Minister of Oil and Gas, and on behalf of Tethys Oil Company Qetpet Limited by Hussain Al Lawati, Vice President of company Affairs.

This agreement stipulates the company’s commitment during the period of the agreement to implement seismic surveys and conduct many geological and geophysical studies and dig a number of exploration wells.
